Customers Beware of the cashier checkout register women at this location in Newark, NJ. They are stealing from the customers. I bought items from this store on multiple occasions and the cashier women billed me for items I did not select or even have in my shopping cart more than once. The first time it happened I thought maybe it was a honest mistake 🤔. The second time I called the store to speak with a representative or manager and got no answer. The phone just rings no one picks up and you can't leave a message. This is now the third time they bill me for items costing more than the actual produce I selected to buy. Having the customers unknowingly pay for someone else's groceries without their permission is dishonest and theft. Message to those of you who are participating in all this thievery. If you need food or money just ask for it. DO NOT take what is not yours whether from a person, a community, the wilderness or from a culture. It was not earned nor given. It is not yours. You have been warned ⚠️

I absolutely LOVE this place. It is a bit pricey, however...compared to Whole Foods etc in the area, its reasonable. They are hardworking and the staff is TOP NOTCH. The owner is extremely impressionable, as he gets to know all his customers. And they are always open to expand the level of variety because of such the diverse community they serve. I travel an hour, just because I Love this store, the quality and staff. Thank You Garden Farmers

I usually go to this place and they are usually good but today I bought four bundles of dandelions. I got maybe a half a bundle of Dandelions that are usable. They put the good dandelions on the outside and hid the bad dandelions in the middle

It was a little pricey but the items in the store are really fresh you can tell just by looking at them. The store was clean, well lit, organized and pretty well stocked. They had a variety of items and surprisingly this is the only store that I found thus far that sells oyster mushrooms in essex. It wasn't too busy when I went there.

They have recently remodeled with new floors and a new refrigerated case. Prices are always reasonable and produce is fresh. They have a fish market in the back and fresh bread.
